Life is built on sharing, equality, and community

Every action and every decision is taken involving the other members of the community. From the first moment, RVA guided us through its community living experience. Our routine included common actions for the school where we cleaned, fixed, or cooked together.

Monthly, we took action during the building weekends to improve the infrastructure or the surroundings of the school.

Changing routines from individual life, towards a life based on community habits can be especially challenging. However, one of the biggest advantages of this communal life is the multicultural exchange that we experience at school. On one hand, RVA invites people from Saint Vincent to join one of the programs against climate change, which allow us to have a general image of their culture. On the other hand, numerous people from other countries join as well, as a result, many languages, cultures, and beliefs end up together.
