A trilha do lado de Windward foi reabilitada e, portanto, est\u00e1 em boas condi\u00e7\u00f5es. A trilha de Leeward foi mais dif\u00edcil de percorrer devido \u00e0s \u00e1rvores ca\u00eddas.    <\/p>\n<p>Juntamente com a National Parks, Rivers and Beaches Authority, o Forestry Department e o Global Environment Facility (GEF) Small Grant Facility, a RVA restaurou a trilha e ensinou nas escolas sobre a import\u00e2ncia de proteger a biodiversidade, dando aulas sobre mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas, biodiversidade, agricultura inteligente em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao clima e ecoturismo em oito comunidades de North Leeward.<\/p>\n<p>Dez pessoas foram contratadas para limpar a trilha, remover troncos, fazer mirantes, bancos e consertar degraus. Tamb\u00e9m foram criadas 15 placas informativas para fornecer orienta\u00e7\u00f5es, conselhos e informa\u00e7\u00f5es aos visitantes. A trilha Leeward tem aproximadamente 8 km de extens\u00e3o e oferece aos visitantes vistas panor\u00e2micas de tirar o f\u00f4lego da terra e da paisagem marinha ao redor.
