El sendero del lado de Barlovento se rehabilit\u00f3 y, por lo tanto, est\u00e1 en buenas condiciones. El sendero de Sotavento era m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil de recorrer debido a los \u00e1rboles ca\u00eddos.  <\/p>\n<p>Junto con la Autoridad de Parques Nacionales, R\u00edos y Playas, el Departamento Forestal y el Fondo para el Medio Ambiente Mundial (FMAM) Small Grant Facility, RVA restaur\u00f3 el sendero y ense\u00f1\u00f3 en las escuelas la importancia de proteger la biodiversidad impartiendo lecciones sobre cambio clim\u00e1tico, biodiversidad, agricultura clim\u00e1ticamente inteligente y ecoturismo en ocho comunidades de North Leeward.<\/p>\n<p>Se contrat\u00f3 a diez personas para limpiar el sendero, retirar troncos, hacer miradores, bancos y reparar escalones. Tambi\u00e9n se crearon quince carteles informativos para dar indicaciones, consejos e informaci\u00f3n a los visitantes. El sendero de Sotavento tiene una longitud aproximada de 8 km y ofrece a los visitantes unas impresionantes vistas panor\u00e1micas de la tierra y el mar
