“Rescue Diver Stop. Breathe. Think. Only then should you act.

And rushing into a rescue can make you both victims.

Also, in the level 3 of scuba diving courses, you’ll learn how to deal with dive emergencies using a variety of techniques and skills.

By the end of this course, you’ll know how to avoid risks and how to respond in case things do go wrong.

Rescue Diver emergencies

My best experience in Rescue Diver is that I have gained so much knowledge.

And Jesper examines the practical part really well with Isa and me.

So, one thing I really like is the knowledge review, is there you really suck so much knowledge to you.

Isa has been such a good partner because we are always helping each other, discussing things and the good thing about having her as a partner is that she wants it as much as me.

And, the second best thing is that she is passionate.

Hence, you can tell that she loves to dive.

So Isa has also been a good teacher for me.

Learning materials

You will be provided with learning materials, including booklets and DVDs, just as you received during the Open Water Diver and Advanced.

Then you will take what you learned into the water for real-life simulations of what to do in emergency situations.

Here you will practice rescue scenarios in the open water, normally it’s in pools, but I think that it’s better doing the scenarios in the open water, because it feels more real.

And, you will learn how to prepare an emergency assistance plan with steps for managing an emergency at a dive site.

Also, this will help you to know how to prepare for emergencies in advance.

Besides, the ability to respond to them when they occur.

Like most diving certifications, rescue diver has a knowledge portion combined with an applied, in-the-water component.
